National Tea Day 21st April 2020

Whilst enjoying my morning tea a message came through from my good friend Lizz alerting me to National Tea Day ... so this Tuesday we will get out our respective Royal Dalton Tea sets and partake in tea, cake and on-line conversation... thank you Lizz - although not sure about the image for NTD as a pot with a 'tea bag' ... my own pot will have fresh tea leaves.  I will select Da Hong Pao, an Oolang tea from the Wuyi province of Fujian province in China.  In 2018 I travelled to the tea plantations of this province.  After walking for over 4 hours in 38 degree heat with 95% humidity I located, in the plantation, a tea shop.  Here I drank many cups of Lapsang,  took a photo of one of the oldest Da Hong Pao bushes and purchased some Da Hong Pao tea.
