tea talk concept

I am no tea connoisseur but I have standards: tea leaves - not tea bags, china cups (absolutely never polystyrene), tea pots, and tea strainers (if pots do not have them inbuilt)and milk jugs (for those who take milk).  Milk goes in first if tea is brewing in the pot.  Milk goes in after if making tea in a cup.  I actually don't take milk in my tea, and I feel a sense of horror at the demise of tea as the nations beverage of choice.

A few years ago I began to write reflections and observations about my week.  They were about healing and not for public viewing.  As  I wrote I generally drank tea, and tea was part of that healing process.

Over those years I have also traveled solo a great deal. At times over great distance.  I have had many adventures, and within these there were always times when I would stop, find tea and write about what I saw, felt and experienced.  It has always been random, but always pleasurable.

The plurality inferred by the title of this blog is indicative of creating a space that is not simply where I write of tea.  The idea was to create a space, a place, a sort of  tea shop in the cloud, where tea drinkers can share adventures, stories, annoyances, anecdotes, recommendations … it is a social space in which to share tea… and as such I invite you to contribute to the become co-authors of the tea talk diaries.
