The Tea Brick…
The teller of the tale...
Sat in the relative
warmth of the bakery, whilst lashing rain flooded the pot holes of a certain
London square, the ebb and flow of conversation was somewhat introspective. It was a French bakery, and whilst none were
eaten, a tray of Madeline’s lay on the counter beyond where the two friends sat
‘catching up.’ Sad news shone a spot
light on the eventfulness of recent years and brought focus to the present; on creative
endeavours and writing. A tale of a tea
brick, purchased from Twinings flagship store 216 Strand, was shared. It was a poignant hour.
